Roma 2009 in the Eternal City
Rome will host the 13th edition World Swimming Championships in Rome, Italy this year. The events include : swimming, open water swimming, diving, water polo and synchronized swimming.
For 16 days, Rome will have the honour of hosting the World Championships in aquatic disciplines, declared by the Council of Ministers “A Great National Event.”
The 13th FINA World Championships represent not only an extraordinary International Sport Event but also a unique opportunity to participate in the Village Roma09 Party. An extraordinary moment of visibility, business and cultural relationships with more than 170 countries and 1500 journalists/broadcasters coming from all over the World. The Village will attract more than 400,000 visitors from all around the World, with an average daily attendance of about 20,000 people. The opening days will be from 15th of July untill the 2nd of August.
