Peter Imanse said that the chemical balance of the pool is very easy to maintain.
Peter Imanse also reported that maintenance and cleaning of the pool is very easy to do. A vacuum system as well as the portable dolphin cleaning system is used. Everyone from the Maitland Recreation Centre commented that the flush pool skimmer is absolutely fantastic. Even with a aqua fitness class of 50 or 60 people in one half of the pool, the other half of the pool is completely smooth.
Paul questioned if there is a lot of action in the pool, does this create a lot of water overflow on to the deck. It was reported that there is absolutely zero water overflow onto the deck no matter how many people are in the pool.
Ann Marie has worked in many different swimming pool locations and she is the Aquatic Director and reports that this is the finest swimming pool she has ever managed.
The level gutter system is incredible and is supported and enjoyed by all pool users.
There has been no marking of the pool liner. Many different classes including scuba diving classes have been held and there has been no scarring or marking of the vinyl liner. The vinyl liner is very much endorsed by the Maitland Recreation Centre as a clean and comfortable surface.
Peter Imanse pointed out that you never have to drain the pool for maintenance.
