Trinity College - Myrtha Pools

To whom it may concern:

Trinity College recently completed the construction of a new 50 metre pool and we are happy to say that all systems are working well. Reports from various sources suggest that the quality of the water displays a "wine glass effect" even after heavy bathing load.

After some two new years of research and design, Trinity College determined that the Myrtha Pool would be the best product to address the various ground issues that we had at the College. Some of the issues included:

  • Water table at 1.8 metres
  • Very high Salt content
  • Extreme ground subsidence

Given our location on an old rubbish site close to the rivers edge, we decided to install the pool as an above ground pool, to lift it out of the salty ground water. Because of the stainless steel fabrication this also gave us a chance to walk underneath the concourse so that we can wash down any salt and do regular maintenance. A Myrtha pool gave us the opportunity to do this.

Trinity College is happy to recommend this pool construction method and also happy to welcome those who wish to view a working site.
